What To Expect | The Appointment
Assessment | The Appointment
Upon arrival, I will take time to talk with you and meet your pet. I will also answer any questions you have at that time. We will talk through the process of the appointment.
We will also find a spot for your pet to be comfortable for the appointment.

Gentle Sedation/Anesthesia
An injection of a sedative/anesthetic will be given in a way that will minimize any discomfort. This is to allow your pet to gradually fall asleep and be comfortable while feeling no pain or stress. This can take 5-10 minutes, but can also vary depending on each individual pet.
Saying Goodbye
Once your pet is fully asleep and unaware, I will administer the final medication. You are welcome to stay for as long as you are comfortable.
If cremation is selected for aftercare, I will gently prepare the body for transportation. If you have a large dog, I may ask for a family member's assistance in transporting a stretcher into my vehicle.
